I know this sounds ideal but the older kids can help with lunches and feeding the animals, at least!
The laundry always seems like to big a mountain for our girls to help with... haven't figured that out yet!
I know how hard it is to fit in all the chores between shifts, and sometimes it seems as if you are the only one doing that.
Next week should be interesting.. will the girls just buy ALL week or make their lunches.... I can probably guarantee that Jack won't .
Hang in there.

I can't stress this enough. They all live their they all should assist in doing the chores. All of these things need to be learned for when they move out anyway might as well start early.. :) Well cept for the hubby, :) LOL
Everyone who contributes to generating the housework needs to help out with it. Kids can feed animals and load/unload a dishwasher or do them by hand. They can also learn to do laundry with supervision if you're picky about how it gets done. When you can't supervise in person, write the instructions on recipe cards and post them in the laundry area. There's no reason you should have to do it all. Take the cue from Bru - you are #1 and if you run yourself ragged, you won't be able to be there for anyone else.
Put the kids to work. I am with the rest of the crew. My kids help out all the time with chores. They have seen me get crazy and know that to prevent mom from going psycho that they have to help out and they have gotten to where they don't mind it much. I started this on both of them when they were young and they both can pretty much do what is needed to do now. My daughter (18 yo) has watched her brother for the past two summers when I have worked and to keep them from killing each other I have them do chores for the first half of the day after the get up and get breakfast. It is such a relief to come home and see the house cleaned up and I can jump in and start dinner and not have to face all that.
